    Hydroentangled nonwovens are made by spraying a high-pressure, micro-fine water jet onto one or more layers of fibres, so that the fibres become entangled with each other and the web is reinforced and has a certain strength, resulting in a fabric known as a hydroentangled nonwoven.

    Principle of hydroentangled nonwoven processing:


    A jet of fine water is sprayed through the web at high pressure. After the water jet has passed through the fibre web, it is rebounded by the dragging curtain and again interpenetrates the fibre web. As a result, the fibers in the fibre web are displaced, interpenetrated, entangled and held together by the high-speed water jets in different directions, thus reinforcing the fibre web.
